Take a look at the music scene of the 70s-80s in NY by Chris Stein.
Chris Stein who graduated from School of Arts in NY, joined to a band called The Stilettos in 1973 and just like at the Casablanca, “this became the beginning of a beautiful friendship” of Debbie Harry and Chris Stein. At first the duo form the band, later decide to change the name to Angel and the Snakes. At long last, they change the name of band for good, “Blondie”!
While playing guitar, Chris Stein also works its magic on taking photos. In honor of the 40th anniversary of Blondie, Chris Stein decides to release his treasure-worth photographs from the NYC music scene of the 1970s and early 1980s in his new book, “Chris Stein/Negative: Me, Blondie, and the Advent of Punk”.
