Exactly 8 years ago, Nublu opened as a café on the ground floor of a burnt down building in East Village, New York.

There is no doubt that Jesse Murphy, Kenny Love Wollesen and İlhan Ersahin’s Love Trio had a major part in Nublu’s position as one of the most significant venues in New York’s underground scene today. Love Trio which brings together the roots of Electronica and Dub with Nu-jazz and Drum & Bass, (they even released an album with the dub legend U-Roy) will be on stage with the famous percussionist Arto Tunçboyacıyan. Tunçboyacıyan who collaborated with musicians such as Chet Baker, Joe Zawinul, Arthur Blythe, Wayne Shorter, Dino Saluzzi, Marc Johnson, Al Di Miola, System of a Down is one of a kind percussionist. Love Trio with Arto Tunçboyacıyan will be at Babylon on March 9th for Nublu Jazz Festival.
