Dutch Delight 2d Party: Martyn & Dj Melon

As part of the Dutch Delight events held for the 400th anniversary of the diplomatic relationships between Turkey and Netherlands, one of the prominent producers of the modern dance music world is getting ready to perform at Babylon on the 17th of May, Thursday.

Martijn Deykers, the DJ and producer from Eindhoven -or as the electronic music world knows him, Martyn- is pointed out as one of the most original names coming out of Netherlands. Martyn started his career as a drum’n bass DJ but then came a point at which he was substantially impressed by the “Sine of the Dub” single of Kode9 that made him fall for the dubstep. He is known for combining house and dubstep adding also techno and jungle elements. Martyn, who has presented the new formula of dubstep to the world with his debut album “Great Lenghts” released in 2009, also has mixed Fabric Compilation in 2010.

DJ Melon (Babylon Lounge)

As a part of the Dutch Delight events held for the 400th anniversary of the diplomatic relationships between Turkey and Netherlands, Holland’s TrouwAmsterdam is visiting Babylon Lounge. Holland’s locomotive club TrouwAmsterdam’s resident DJ Melon (Jeroen Hofer) will be behind the set on May 17. After his groundshaking shows at Fabric and Panorama Bar in which he has gained residencies by spinning records, now Melon is bringing Amsterdam’s club culture to musiclovers in Istanbul.
