Silk Moon, the project in which Renaud Garcia-Fons's double bass meets Derya Türkan's kamancheh, will be on the Babylon Bomonti stage for XXF Very Very French Festival.
By adding a fifth string to the double bass, Garcia Fons, who was given a professorship diploma by French Ministry of Culture at the age of 21, is a musician who changed the potential of music and the idea that double bass was a supporting instrument. His collaboration with a member of İncesaz band, Derya Türkan, which started in 2006, has been taken into a new level with Silk Moon. Born with the self-written compositions of the musicians, Silk Moon project offers a musical feast with Turkish and flamenco patterns.
