Grammy winning musician Robert Glasper will be on the Babylon stage once again on 30 November with the “Robert Glasper Experiment

Blending funky jazz and hip hop masterfully at his piano, Robert Glasper has worked with musicians like bassist Christian McBride and sax genius Kenny Garrett. He later collaborated with Nicholas Payton, Terence Blanchard and Roy Hargrove. These names have had a great impact on shaping Glasper’s sound. The artist received his first Grammy nomination with “Double Booked,” which combined funky jazz with acoustic piano. “Black Radio,” Glasper’s paradigm-shifting, boundary pushing second album, won the “Best R&B Album” award at 2013 Grammy Awards. Receiving high praises from Rolling Stone magazine, “Black Radio” also made it to the Top 10. The talented musician will perform his special blend ranging from East Coast hip hop to Blue Note jazz on Wednesday, 30 November at Babylon!
