Apparat also known as Sascha Ring is a familiar name to many, especially to electronic music enthusiasts.
Owner of Shitkatapult record label, German producer, combines techno with ambient music. His extraordinary style and powerful live performances attracts a large group of fans. Sascha Ring’s first major public appearance was on John Peel Session in 2004 and subsequently he published his first EP. Apparat had a large contribution to Ellen Allien’s "Berlinette" album in 2003 and they jointly released "Orchestra of Bubbles" in 2006. In 2009, Apparat combined forces with the famous French electro duo Modeselektor and formed a new band called “Moderat” and released a self-titled album via Bpitch Control label. Together with the great success of the Moderat, the band began to perform in prestigious clubs and festivals. Apparat won Qwartz Dancefloor award in 2009 and released DJ Kicks album through cult label !K7 in the same year. On April 16th, Apparat will be at Babylon as a part of his European tour! He will be accompanied by Shitkatapult ‘s techno and dance genius Phon.o. The biggest fan of Apparat in Turkey, Mabbas will be the opening DJ for the night.
