Paul Banks, following the success of the albums he recorded with Interpol, received popular and critical acclaim with “Julien Plenti is...Skyscraper,” which he released under the name ‘Julien Plenti’ in 2009.
However, the adventure of his solo career goes further back than any of his other projects. Banks, who performed solo in many different venues with his acoustic guitar prior to Interpol, did not neglect his individual work after beginning to carry the Interpol name. He resurfaced with the ‘Julien Plenti Lives EP’ that he released this summer, and released his new album, “Banks,” to be launched in October. With his baritone voice that reminds one of Ian Curtis, and the melancholic experience he creates, the legendary lead singer of Interpol will take the stage in Babylon for two consecutive nights for a special performance that will surely be unforgettable.
