Swedish musician, model and artist Karin Park will be at Babylon on February 15th, Friday night!
Karin Park first became known in 2003 with her single Superworldunknown and was nominated at the Norway’s Grammy-equivalent Spellemannprisen Awards for “Best Newcomer” and “Best Woman Artist” categories with her album by the same name. She transformed into a gloomier character with her new music Change Your Mind in 2006, where she took her music to a more industrial and experimental level by combining her style with synths.
Karin Park who became a big success, especially in England, Germany and Norway with her album Higwire Poetry, which she released last year, toured with Azari & III ve SBTRKT on their European concerts. Karin Park’s electro-analog, neon-retro and industrial-pop musical tendencies have been compared to Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and The Knife.
