One of the most remarkable names in alternative pop music, Marina and the Diamonds will be at Babylon for the very first time in Turkey on Januarty 17th.

Marina Lambrini Diamandis started her musical carreer as Marina and the Diamonds in 2005 and discovered by Derek Davies of Neon Gold Records. After her opening show for Gotye, she’s spotted by Warner Music Group’s radar. With her debut album The Family Jewels, Marina entered to the UK Albums Chart in fifth position in 2010 and in the same year  she reached number two on the BBC Sound of 2010. She supported Coldplay and Katy Perry and last April, she released her second studio album Electra Heart and reached number one in both UK and Europe lists. Influenced by a variety of musicians from Daniel Johnston to PJ Harvey and Britney Spears, Marina breaks the rules of indie pop and she continuoslu keeps her style refreshed and renewed.
