Babylon Picks concerts continue with the Moses Yoofee Trio on March 13 at Babylon.

Since forming in 2020, Berlin’s Moses Yoofee Trio has cultivated an extraordinary reputation, winning the 2024 German Jazz Prize’s prestigious Live Act of the Year award. Moses Yoofee was hailed as a “young jazz genius” at the age of 14. The trio consists of Yoofee’s musical partnership with friend Roman Klobe, along with Noah Fürbringer on drums. They have quickly become one of the most celebrated acts at jazz festivals across Europe.

Following their 2023 mini-album Ocean, Moses Yoofee Trio’s debut full-length album, MYT, will be released by Nils Frahm’s LEITER label on February 7, 2025. Much of the album was recorded over ten days in April 2024 at Glaswald Studios, located in the countryside outside Stuttgart, before the band returned to Berlin to refine the results, recording two additional tracks at Frahm’s renowned Funkhaus studio.
