Babylon Picks concerts continue with Siv Jakobsen on March 6 at Babylon.

Siv Jakobsen quickly became a favourite of the indie-folk world with her first EP The Lingering in 2015. Having released three full-length albums to date, Norwegian singer-songwriter sings about her fears of the future and her self-doubts in an unfiltered way. But she also brings to life the brightest melodies with enthusiasm.

 Siv Jakobsen, who has toured supporting José González, Damien Jurado, Susanne Sundfør and more, shared her four-track cover EP bird’s eye view in the summer of 2024. Her lyrics, vocals, pauses, breaths, fingerpicked acoustic guitar sound, and arrangements all come together to calm her bruises. With each of her albums, Jakobsen opens up to us even more, evoking emotion with precision to amazing effect. Her bold lyricism and stunning vocal ability transports the listener into her world from the very first note.
