Radio Modart Nights kick off with the Aga B show!

Having started broadcasting in the fall of 2024 with the motto "New Wave in Turkish Music," Radio Modart will organize a concert series, beginning on December 12 at Babylon. One of the most unique storytellers in the Turkish rap scene, Aga B, will take the stage.

Aga B

Aga B (Hayri Burak Yelman), born in 1987 in Ankara, began his career in 2000 at a very young age. After releasing singles and two unlicensed albums in the early years of his musical journey, he went on to release Al Bum! in 2016, Muaf in 2019, and Muamma in 2022. During this time, Aga B attracted attention with his live performances, as well as hit songs like "Kum Kale", "Flaş", "Eyvah", and "Rüya”.

Last year, Aga B released the singles "Adalet", "Rabarba", "YE!", "ENDAM", and his latest album, a thematic one titled Interlude 87 came out. Produced by KXRGX, Interlude 87 features guest appearances from artists such as Kamufle, Su Sonia, Abkountry, and Fuat.

Directed by radio host, DJ, and music producer Hakan Tamar, and writer, DJ, music director, and organizer Tayfun Polat, Radio Modart plays uninterrupted modern, alternative, and local music. With over 30 years of experience in discovering and supporting fresh local sounds, the duo aims to draw attention to the “New Wave” with an ambitious archive spanning a wide range of genres, from jazz to metal, electronic music to folk.
