Aime Simone takes his dark romanticism to Babylon on September 26!
Singer-songwriter and producer Aime Simone made his mark on the world with a unique hybrid musical style he calls “post-pop”. His songwriting combines the emotional and melodic depth of pop music and the intensity of trap and club beats, enhanced by elements of electronic experimentation.
Aime Simone’s third album, REV, is set to be released on April 4, and is described as his most ambitious and conceptually complex project to date. The songs, thought up as short stories, trace an imaginary world somewhere in between dreams and nightmares. In fact, the name of the album is the French word for dream. Released by Because Music, REV, is inhabited by symbols and diabolical alter-egos reminiscent of the great figures of dark romanticism and fantasy such as Edgar Allan Poe, James Joyce and Shirley Jackson.
Paris-born Norwegian singer will take the Babylon stage on September 26.
