One of the most remarkable young British musicians, Kate Nash will be at Babylon for her first Istanbul show on April 13th with the sponsorship of Indie Nation by Nike.
Nash became interested in music as a child and released her first EP when she was 23 years old via Moshi Moshi Records. As a result of the huge demand for her debut EP, the musician signed a record deal with Fiction Records. Her first album 'Made of Bricks’ topped the charts for a long time with many hits like 'Foundations', 'Mouthwash' and 'Pumpkin Soup'. Pop music with indie overtones and an experimental edge combined with Nash's distinctive vocal made this artist a very unique and in-demand performer. Following the success of 2007's 'Made of Bricks', Nash’s sound welcomed a piano pop and girl-group-tinged punk, while maintaining her quirky style. As a side project in late 2009, Kate joined punk band called ‘The Receeders’ where she plays bass guitar. Nash's music and style is a perfect guide to understand today's younger urban mode of Cockney English. Kate Nash, with her enchanting voice and powerful performance, will be at Babylon with the sponsorship of Indie Nation by Nike on April 13th!
