Kalben and her heartfelt hits at Babylon on April 26

With her guitar, which she has played since the age of 14, and her soulful voice, songwriter and storyteller Kalben is one of the pioneers of the new generation of composers that emerged in Turkey in the 2010s.

Kalben is an exceptional voice that resonates with songs about the familiar experiences in life and lyrics that flow effortlessly. Since she made her entrance with “Sadece” nearly 10 years ago, she has continued to write songs that are sincere and outspoken. Throughout her journey, which has seen her release five studio albums, an EP, and countless singles, she has collaborated with many of the most prolific musicians, producers, and composers in Turkey’s music scene, always exploring different aesthetics and approaches. In 2022, she released her first novel along with an album inspired by it, Eski Dünyanın Yangını. Through these two complementary works, she explored the concept of “love.”

After releasing various singles and remixes in 2024, Kalben wrapped up the year with her cover of “İncelikler Yüzünden” for Sertab Erener’s SAYGI1 album. Do not miss her performance at Babylon on April 26.!
