Benedic Lamdin’s stimulating jazz project, Nostalgia 77 will be at Babylon stage on April 30, as part of Garanti Caz Yeşili events and International Jazz Day.
Nostalgia 77 is in the pursuit of misterious sounds and rhythms and it is hard to classify their music. With their refreshing and amusing melodies, it is a creation that everyone from 7 to 70 can enjoy. In 2006, Nostalgia 77 won The Best Jazz LP Award on BBC Worldwide Awards with "Borderlands" and they are continuing to extend the borders of modern jazz with their latest album "A Journey Too Far" released on Tru Thoughts which they worked with Josa Peit and Jeb Loy Nichols.
