Full of joy and full of sound, Cümbüş Cemaat takes the stage at Babylon on December 13!

Cümbüş Cemaat members interpret traditional music without adhering strictly to forms, while also composing their original songs. The band, which has performed at numerous festivals and venues, was featured in Tony Gatlif's 2017 film Djam and performed before its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

After completing the recording process with Shantel in Frankfurt, Cümbüş Cemaat released their album İstanbul in 2020 through Essay Recordings. In 2023, the band began working on a new album, and their first single, “Mumya”, was released independently later that year. Continuing their collaborative musical projects, Cümbüş Cemaat released the track “Meyhaneci”, recorded with Selin Sümbültepe and produced by Sillyboy's Ghost Relatives, on August 23, 2023.
