Apparat also known as Sascha Ring is a familiar name to many, especially to electronic music enthusiasts.
Now he’s visiting Babylon with his full live band! Owner of Shitkatapult record label, German producer, combines techno with ambient music. His extraordinary style and powerful live performances attracts a large group of fans. Sascha Ring’s first major public appearance was on John Peel Session in 2004 and subsequently he published his first EP. Apparat had a large contribution to Ellen Allien’s ""Berlinette"" album in 2003 and they jointly released ""Orchestra of Bubbles"" in 2006. In 2009, Apparat combined forces with the famous French electro duo Modeselektor and formed a new band called “Moderat” and released a self-titled album via Bpitch Control label. Together with the great success of the Moderat, the band began to perform in prestigious clubs and festivals. Apparat won Qwartz Dancefloor award in 2009 and released DJ Kicks album through cult label! K7 in the same year. For the new season, “Apparat Band” is getting ready to perform with many diverse instruments on stage, like drums, percussions, cello and piano.
