Senor Coconut is just one of the many aliases Frankfurter producer Uwe Schmidt has.

Considered by many music authorities as the inventor of electrolatino and electrogospel, Senor Coconut has David Bowie and Joe Jackson among his devoted fans. You may also recognize this name from his other monikers like Atom TM, Dr Mueller, Flanger and Ongaku. But when he is on the stage putting his “sombrero” on, he becomes a quirky character called “Senor Coconut”. 
In 90s, he first introduced himself as ‘Atom Heart’ at the beginning of his career. In 1996, his Latino persona Senor Coconut emerged. His love of Latin music pushed him to reinterpret Kraftwerk songs in his own electrolatino way. This character Senor Coconut is now on tour again and has to stop by in İstanbul. On December 16th, in a very cold snowy İstanbul night, he will be in Babylon with the sponsorship of Mariachi for an overly heated show.
