One of the oldest punk bands of Turkey, Rashit will be our guest on December 2nd! The night will be kicked off by post-punk and darkwave duo Ductape and Hakan Tamar’s DJ set.

Rashit

Formed by Oğuz Tatak at vocals, Tolga Özbey at the guitar, Bülent Kabaş at the bass, Orkun Tunç at the drums and Steve Wiles at the piano and the saxophone, Rashit was founded in 1993. Distributing their first demo records with a “do-it-yourself” spirit, Rashit released one of the first punk albums of Turkey in 1999, “Telaşa Mahal Yok”. Preparing to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a special tour, the band will reshare their 2003 album “Adam Olmak İstemiyorum” with a special 20th anniversary edition. Getting into the studio after a break of 10 years, Rashit recorded two new tracks entitled “Kalbim Soldan Atıyor” and “Dünya Bizi Yutmadan”.

Ductape

Istanbul based post-punk and darkwave duo Ductape shared their debut EP “Little Monsters” in 2020. Releasing their first album “Labirent” in the beginning of 2021, the duo made a deal with Switzerland based label Swiss Dark Nights and shared their EP “Araf”. Performing many times in Mexico, Latin America and Europe, Ductape entered the “Best Of” lists of the leading post-punk and darkwave magazines in 2021. Releasing their second album “Ruh” early 2022, Ductape invites their listeners to dance on their disappointments.
