Niyazi Koyuncu, modern face of the traditional Blacksea music is getting ready to be at Babylon on 4th of December, Wednesday night.
Niyazi Koyuncu was born in Artvin Hopa, Pançol ( Yeşilköy ) as a sixth child of Cavit and Hüseyin Koyuncu and little brother of Kazım Koyuncu. Varigetion of Blacksea, melodies from local folks and his observations from different cultures helped him to find his way to create his music. Before his solo works Niyazi Koyuncu was the vocal of the ethnic music band "Seritana" which means "light in the dark" in Laz language. He mostly believes that art can be found in the street and his reality is based on this belief. Koyuncu dreams a world that everybody can sing a song about freedom with their "own language". In his first solo album "Muço Pa“ ( how do i make ), Koyuncu sings his songs in Turkish, Laz language and Eastside of Blacksea’s languages... With "Muço Pa", he lets us examine our lives, and having much beautiful world is possible to bring together all differences according to Niyazi Koyuncu...
