Jose Gonzales and his childhood friends Elias Araya and Tobias Winterkorn’s psyschedelic folk rock project Junip will be on Babylon’s stage again on 16th of February with Nordic Sunday.
Junip released its first record “Straight Lines” in 2000 then, gave a break due to Jose Gonzales’ decision of focusing on his solo career. The group reunited in 2005 and released an EP “Black Refuge”. Their last album “Junip” has been one of the best albums in 2013. Jose Gonzales aims to trigger emotions not only with melody but also with lyrics inspired by nature and human relations.
