Ceylan Ertem, one of Turkey's favorite modern voices, is at Babylon on Wednesday, February 3, with her extensive repertoire.
Ceylan Ertem began her music career in 2006 with a rock band called 'Anima'. With the release of her first solo album, Soluk, in 2010, Ceylan Ertem made a mark with the songs “İnsandık”, “Çok Yakın”, and “Nazım'a Şarkılar”. Ütopyalar Güzeldir, her second solo album, was released in 2012 and rated as one of the five best albums of the year by many critics. As part of the Sezen Aksu Tribute and Cadı Avı (Witch Hunt) projects, Ceylan Ertem interprets the songs of female musicians who have had an impact on her life and on the history of Turkish music.
