Della Miles’s music career started like most of the musicians; in church choir. After listening to Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and later Michael Jackson, she accelerated and started to perform in various venues in Houston. Then she’s discovered and managed to become one of the back-up singers at Whitney Houston’s tour. Afterwards touring with Müller-Westernhagen she started to write her owns songs and published her debut “Simple Days”. Her style is the unique combination of passionate soul and jazz classics. One can easily feel the intensity and melancholy of the soul music in Miles’ Motown influenced songs. After a series of successful summer concerts at Monk at Çeşme Marina, talented Della Miles, back by popular demand, will be visiting Babylon for 2 special gigs, on January 12nd and 13th.
