Islandman represents a fictional character, a musical identity, and a visionary who, inspired by an island which does not exist, could not dream that the roads they passed by would lead to such interesting and beautiful places. Performing on stage as an electro-acoustic live trio, Islandman’s music is a unique blend of soft electronic structures and dance rhythms, supported by shamanic beats and live guitars.

Islandman’s journeys have taken them to the best band award at the Montreux Jazz Festival, a Kecak dance in Bali, the stories in streets of Paris, ancient sounds of women in Bulgaria's mountains, Aşık Veysel in Anatolia, Worldwide FM in London, Tuareg hypnotic music in Mali deserts, a guest appearance on Elton John’s radio show, an amazing musical trip on the Boiler Room series, studio sessions with Bongo Ent. in Denmark, softest women vocals in South America, and many other experiences which they do not want to prolong by writing. Islandman, consisting of Tolga Böyük, Erdem Başer, and Eralp Güven, has become an alternative existence—a community of extraordinary individuals from many parts of the world.
