Selected by Radyo Modyan for you: Pesüs and Efe Demiral Zeynep Oktar Duo at Babylon on March 20

We gather at Babylon on March 20 for a special event curated by Radyo Modyan, an independent broadcaster from Istanbul since 2015. Bringing together a night filled with contemporary jazz, electronic, and avant-rock sounds, Pesüs and Efe Demiral Zeynep Oktar Duo will take the stage with live performances.

Consisting of Mehmet Korkmaz  on guitar, Yiğit Tornacı on keyboard, Beste Su Bayramoğlu on clarinet, and Ahmet Kazım Müftüoğlu on drums, Pesüs weaves narratives around themes inspired by The Second New Poetry movement (İkinci Yeni) in their 2023 album, Balkonda Deniz. At this concert, they will perform tracks from Balkonda Deniz along with new pieces from their upcoming second album.

Efe Demiral Zeynep Oktar Duo
Opening the night before Pesüs, composer and producer Zeynep Oktar, together with guitarist Efe Demiral, will present their first duo set on stage, featuring original compositions and improvised elements, navigating through ambient, noise, and minimal soundscapes.
