Babylon opens the gates for British indie rock and electro pop band The Big Pink.
Started making music as The Big Pink in 2007, Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell gained their first break with their first single “Too Young to Love”. The Big Pink, is signed to the 4AD label in 2009 and won the most prestigious NME Shockwave award, the Philip Hall Radar Award as the “best new act”. Pitchfork Media described their 4AD single Velvet as “undeniably immense, but it's a tribute to the Big Pink's skill and maturity that it still manages to sound intimate”. Following the next single Stop the World, the duo have grown popularity and rose directly to fame with their cover of The Cure’s Lovesong and their Dominos single from the album A Brief History of Love..
