Cengiz Baysal has worked with many important musicians such as: Ron Affif, Kerem Görsev, Aydın Esen, Mercan Dede , Okay Temiz, İlhan Erşahin, Emin Fındıkoğlu,Tuna Ötenel, Nguyen Le, Dave Samuels, Eve Cornelius, Chip Crafword, Ali Perret, Tiger Okoshi, İmer Demirer, Paula West. Baysal has been an instructor in Musicians Institute School in Los Angeles and Advisory Board member in “Los Angeles City College” in 1998-1999. His “Baby Steps” album title may be a humble homage to John Coltrane’s classic album “Giant Steps” , but his contributions to Turkish jazz can not be seen as a small step.Improvisation experts like Oğuz Büyükberber, İmer Demirer, Engin Recepoğulları, Sarp Maden, Serkan Özyılmaz and Matt Hall contributed to the album in which Cengiz Baysal’s song writing and producing aspects shows up as in very balanced forms of remarkable melodies.“Baby Steps”  is an album that acoustic jazz enthusiasts will be attracted deeply to its sophisticated structure in 10 instrumental tracks.
