From the local music scene, synth-pop band Jakuzi will perform at Babylon on the evening of 23 November.
Jakuzi, formed by Kutay Soyocak of Peygamber Vitesi and Taner Yücel in 2015, was quick to make a name for themselves in the underground music scene with the track “Koca Bir Saçmalık”. Jakuzi had their debut album “Fantezi Müzik” released by Domuz Records in April of this year. The album, predominantly classified as synth-pop and new-wave, was released digitally and also on cassette tape. Their performance last summer at Babylon Soundgarden Kilyos grabbed the attention of quite a few, taking the audience on a long trip starting with Joy Division and Bauhaus, and ending with extravaganza and arabesque genres.
