Succesfull recording artist "Bona Pinder Yayumayalolo", known with his stage name Richard Bona was born in 1967 in Cameroon. Bona was born in a musician family, learned to play balafon when he was  four and started to creat his own instruments ever since. At the age of 22, he moved to Germany and France to persue his passion for music and performed at devirse jazz clubs. In 1999 he released his first solo record while living in New York and collaborated with many musicians with his bass guitar. Bona got music enthusiasts' appreciation with "Eyala" from his "Scenes from My Life" album, his ground breaking success came with his Grammy nomination for "Best Contemporary World Music Album" with his "Tiki" album.
