The French trumpet player Erik Truffaz is an authentic musician blending electronica, drum ‘n’ bass and hip-hop with some raw jazz. He has a unique position in the world of jazz thanks to his extraordinary performances and the albums he recorded with musicians from various genres from all around the world like İlhan Erşahin, Syl Johnson, Nya, Mounir Troudi, Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Philippe Garcia just to name a few. He has released 20 albums to this day from prestigious record companies such as Blue Note, and he has always been on the radar of jazz critics. Mr. Truffaz also holds the esteemed French jazz award “Prix Special”.
