New Yorker musician Andy Butler’s recenet project is Hercules & Love Affair. A dance music project which had a major break through.

It is also one of the most successful bands of James Murphy’s (LCD Soundsystem) record company DFA. Consisting Andy Butler, Tim Goldsworthy and Kim Ann Foxman, Hercules & Love Affair nourishes its electronic and dance based sound with extraordinary vocals. With Anthony Hegarty (Anthony and The Johnson) fascinating vocals ‘Blind’ became a number one hit rapidly and choosen the best song of 2008 by Pitchfork Media. They made another collaboration with Nomi Ruiz (Jessica Six) at ‘You Belong’ that also firmed their place in the music industry. Their second album will be out this september. They worked with Kele Okereke ( Bloc Party), Shaun Wright and Aerea Negrot in this awaited album. With their unorthodox sound Hercules & Love Affair is getting ready for a dazzling perfofmance in Babylon at 23rd October with the sponsorship of Miller.
