Local synth-wave vanguards Jakuzi will be our guest on the night of October 24th!

Formed in 2016, Jakuzi started to blend elements of synth-pop, new wave, dark wave, krautrock, post punk and lo-fi in their sound. Following their fast track to the independent music scene with their single “Koca Bir Saçmalık”, they released their debut album Fantezi Müzik in cassette format. The record was re-released with additional tracks in early 2017 on Berlin based City Slang Records. Jakuzi immediately gained attention and praise from international media such as The Quietus and The Guardian, and performed in several European cities including  Paris, Londra, Berlin, Amsterdam, Zurich. Taking stage at many big festivals such as Primavera Club, Donaufest, Synästhesie Festival, Pop Kultur, the band also gave a sold out concert in Berlin with their musical idol John Maus in 2018. Bringing a more refined and darker sound and exploring the human condition, Jakuzi released their second album Hata Payı in 2019. Offering a home to anyone who has ever felt out of place, the record is about surviving despite one’s self, external factors and demons around them. The band is currently continuing to give concerts in Europe and Turkey and working to release their third album.
