Nilipek. debuts her fourth album, Uydurduğumuz Oyunlarla, at Babylon!

Since her first studio album, Sabah, in 2015, Nilipek. has been expanding her songwriting, which she nurtures with a storytelling approach, into new horizons. She has become a household name with many songs and duets that evoke various emotions. Nilipek. will take the stage at Babylon on October 28 for the debut concert of her fourth full-length album, Uydurduğumuz Oyunlarla, produced by Taner Yücel and Berkay Küçükbaşlar.

Nilipek.’s new album consists of 11 songs that explore familiar emotions of everyday life with new words and sounds, and she describes it as “a narrative of independence.” Combining political symbolism with innovative arrangements, this 45-minute journey can also be seen as a summary of Nilipek.’s musical evolution since her debut album. “The songs on this album were written about the lies, people, situations, and even ourselves that keep us stuck where we are, that limit us from being our true selves,” Nilipek. explains, adding: “Maybe that’s why I felt the most independent during its production process.”
