The Canadian folk trio Timber Timbre, featuring Taylor Kirk, will be taking stage at Babylon on Wednesday, October 4.

Adding to their success with their latest album ‘Sincerely, Future Pollution,’ Timber Timbre has released seven albums so far. The band blends together various tunes from 1950s doo-wop to 1960s folk-like Creep On Creeping On and 1970s influenced Hot Dreams. Timber Timbre will be taking the Babylon stage for the very first time, blending Taylor Kirk’s lyrical vocals with folk, blues and groove beats.

Playing bass clarinet, saxophone, and other unusual woodwind instruments Chris is a self-taught musician, composer, and arranger. He has gone on to explore an experimental practice while also working in popular music touring with Devon Sproule, Guillemots, Little Annie, amongst many others.
