Born in Rio, Ricardo Imperatore started studying music in 1981. Drummer and percussionist of many bands,he participated in shows of artists like Suzan Vega, Man at Work, Midnight Oil, Titãs and others.
In the year of 2000 he created the boTECOeletro project which was chosen the best cd of the year in the electronic category, at TIM MUSIC AWARD 2005. He began performing at Mexico City and La Paz with this project and this year he will meet the Turkish jazz enthusiasts at 22nd Akbank Jazz Festival.
