A-WA, whose music has broken through geographical, political and cultural boundaries, will be performing in Turkey for the first time, visiting the Babylon stage with their colourful stage shows and energetic songs two nights in a row on 23 September and 24 September.
Formed by three Israeli sisters Tair, Liron and Tagel Haim, A-WA combines the oral history of Yemenite women and electronic dance music. The trio released their first album ‘Habib Galbi’ with the support of producer Tomer Yosef of Balkan Beat Box and offer a musical experience of mixed sounds - a fusion of groove and electronic music.
